Installation of the app on Mac
Requirement: MacOS 10.15 and after
PocketPipes can be downloaded from the Mac App Store to your Mac. This is a universal purchase for all platforms (MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, iPod Touch)
The App language can be chosen in the system preferences if needed (English or French)
Demo bagpipe tunes sets
The application (starting V11.1) includes a set of demo tunes that can be easily installed at the first launch.
You can also choose to download the ABC Starter Kit or the BWW Starter Kit in the download folder for instance.
Starting with V13 it will be possible to play polyphonic musics (1st 2nd 3rd 4th). Here are few verified examples Demo pack of polyphonic files
Quick start with Mac OS
Install your tunes (abc and or bww)
With the Finder Application
Simply use drag and drop the files from a Mac location to the tunes screen of PocketPipes.
Another simple way is to:
- Define PocketPipes as the default App to open abc and bww files
- And then a double click on the file will import the file into the app
- This works also for tunes in an e-mail attachment
From a Dropbox account with PocketPipes

PocketPipes also accepts bagpipe music files from other softwares.
